The African Renaissance Ambassador (ARA - pronounced ‘era’) Corp
exists to promote the African Renaissance. ARA mobilizes and nurtures
greater active involvement of Africans and goodwill non-Africans in
solving Africa’s problems, highlighting Africa’s virtues and values. ARA
translates the African Renaissance vision in to practical terms, and
works with partners in Africa, the African Diaspora and good-will non-
Africans in championing the cause for Africa’s globally beneficial
renewal. Make History! You can become an African Renaissance
Ambassador, wherever you are today.
"Help Africans Help Africa"
“…It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We
ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented,
fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of
God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is
nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't
feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children
do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is
within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we
let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own
fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

'Preamble' by Nelson Mandela: “Africa is beyond bemoaning the past for its problems. The task of undoing that past is ours, with the support of those willing to join us in a continental renewal. …We (Africans) must take responsibility for our own destiny, that we will uplift ourselves only by our own efforts in partnership with those (Non-Africans) who wish us well.”
